Scholar in Residance Program


Cantor Redfern, a graduate of the Belz School of Jewish Music, the Cantorial school of Yeshiva University in New York City, can offer the following forms of a Scholar in Residence program:

A. Entire Shabbat Program
  1. Lead Shabbat services
  2. Discuss liturgical or other strains of Jewish music during Shabbat meals
  3. Perform in a Kumsitz style singing and playing the guitar following Shabbat
B. Sunday Brunch program
  1. Discuss liturgical music or other styles of Jewish music
  2. Perform for a shorter period of time approximately thirty minutes
C. Weekday Night program
  1. Lecture and discuss liturgical music or other styles of Jewish music
  2. Perform for a shorter period of time approximately thirty minutes
